Carrie Sullivan (Maa Kamala Anand)
Graduated with a BA in English in 2012, Carrie has been practicing yoga for about 5 years. Recently diving further into the yoga experience and practicing Massage therapy. Her yoga journey took her to Paramanand Institute of Yoga Sciences and Researche, Indore, India where she studied intensively for a month and received certifications in Yoga Therapy for diseases, Chid Shakti Prakriya Meditation, and her 200 hour teacher certification. While she still practices Ayurveda style massage, she also teaches a traditional Hatha style yoga, intensely focused on breath and inner awareness. Each posture is approached meditatively and held for maximum benefit not only for your physical body, but in order to stabilize the mind, bring awareness to your true soul, and ultimately peace into your daily life. Evenness of mind creates balance which leads to healing and physical wellness.
